Chosen to Compete Athletics is a faith-based athletic lifestyle brand created to help athletes compete with confidence, live with purpose and remember who they are.

Every piece is designed to carry a message beyond the moment—a reminder that excellence matters, preparation matters and effort matters, but none of those things determine an athlete’s worth.

We believe athletes can pursue greatness without allowing performance to define them.

They can compete fiercely while remaining grounded in faith.

They can strive for victory while knowing their identity is already secure.

The apparel may carry the message, but the mission reaches far beyond what an athlete wears.

BORN FROM EXPERIENCE

Chosen to Compete Athletics was born from years of living, training, competing and developing athletes ourselves.

Athletics have always been part of our family. Willy has more than 25 years of competitive flag football experience and more than six years of coaching experience. He continues to compete alongside our daughter as a father-daughter duo, sharing with her the same game that has shaped so much of his life.

Alice trained and performed as a dancer for more than 30 years and also taught dance classes, helping others develop their skills, confidence and discipline. Her journey required the physical preparation, mental strength and commitment needed to keep both her body and mind ready to perform.

We understand the sacrifice behind competition because we have lived it—the long hours, physical demands, mental pressure and constant desire to improve. Through coaching and teaching, we have also witnessed those same pressures in the athletes entrusted to us.

We have experienced how easily performance can become identity.

When so much of your life is devoted to becoming better, winning can begin to feel like validation—and disappointment can make you question your value.

Chosen to Compete was created from the truth we needed throughout our own journeys and now want every athlete to know:

Your performance may reflect your preparation, but it never determines your worth.
